These soft drop cookies are low carb, sugar-free, and gluten-free. With their festive red cranberries, they make a nice Christmas cookies, but they are a great healthy cookie  any time.



  • ½ cup (one stick) butter
  • 4 ounces regular or low-fat cream cheese
  • ¾ teaspoon EZ-SWEETZ (36 servings)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 and ½ cups almond meal
  • 1 cup whey protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, roughly chopped



Preheat oven to 375oF.

Beat butter and cream cheese together until fluffy. Beat in EZ-SWEETZ, cinnamon, and salt, then beat in eggs.

Add almond meal, protein powder, and baking soda and combine well. Mix in cranberries and walnuts.

Drop dough by rounded spoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Or one covered with a silicone met. The size is up to you, but avoids very large cookies. Bake about 7 to 9 minutes, until top is just browning. Cool completely before eating. Store in a sealed container.
