Grilled Sesame Steak Skewers

11/2 pounds sirloin steak (1-to-11/2 inches thick)

Marinde ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger,grated
  • 3 cloves garlic,crushed
  • 3 drops EZ-Sweetz (2 servings)
  • 4 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds









Soak 12 to 14 wooden skewers in water for an hour or more. Place the beef in the freezer for about 20 minutes or until partially frozen to facilitate slicing. Cut into 1/8 inch thick slices and  thread onto kewers.

Combine the marinade ingredients in a large, non-reactive, rectangular dish. Add the meat skewers, turn to coat both sides with marinade,and cover dish with plastic wrap, Place in the refrigerator for three hours, turning or basting steak with marinade occasionally.

Preheat the grill or broiler.

Remove the beef skewers from the marinade and drain, reserving the liquid. Grill or broil them for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, brushing with the marinade and turning once.

Bring the remainining marinade to a boil and serve as a sauce with the meat, if desired. Serves 4 as a main dish or 8 as an appetizer.
